Stanley Allen Fisher, born in Oxford, Idaho March 4, 1926 the eighth child of Victor Russell and Jenny Cecil Tucker Fisher passed away June 16,2018 in California. He graduated from Downey High School in 1944. Stan joined the Navy and served as a Seabee, 1944-1946. He boxed in high school and while in the Navy. He ran cross country during boot camp. He says there was only one guy he could never beat. Dad liked to say he arrived home at noon from the Navy and was working on a haystack by two o'clock that afternoon. He spent many years working with his father on the farm in Oxford; eventually buying the farm. Stan met Aldeane Crockett in Preston and they were married for time and eternity in the Logan, Utah Temple. While still in Oxford five girls joined the family. Stan and Aldeane moved to Pocatello where their sixth child, a son, was born. The family moved to Tyhee where he farmed for several years while working at Montgomery Wards and Chad's Home Furnishings. He was frequently recognized as "Outstanding Salesman" by the companies he sold for. He was an accomplished speaker and participated in Toast Masters. The family moved to American Falls in 1971. Stan and Aldeane spent the winters in San Carlos Mexico where Stan could fish to his heart's content. He was passionate about hunting and fishing. He knew just where to find the deer on Oxford mountain. You could always find Stan in Oxford during hunting season. After Aldeane died in 1987 Stan met Maria Hernandez in San Carlos. They were married in 1989 and Maria's children became a part of the family. Stan is survived by his wife Maria, daughters Brenda (Euristhenes) Papaefthimiou, Florida, Loree (Stephen) Hoffman California, Debra Foutch, Oregon, Trudy (Mark) Gunter, Nevada, Nancy (Doug) Chambers, Pocatello, Steven (Yvette) Fisher, California, Jorge (Roxana) Hernandez, Arizona, Ana Hernandez, Arizona, Aracely (Jazael) Hernandez, California, 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Aldeane, his parents, his 8 siblings and his son-in-law Gary Foutch. Stan will be laid to rest at 10:00 am July 14, 2018 in Oxford, Idaho.
