A California native her entire life, Barbara will be remembered for her very loving, generous and kind spirit. Barbara was a devoted mother and wife who loved to bowl, sew, knit, crochet and cheer on her favorite team – the Giants.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Raul and Irene Machado, husband Francis Hopkins, her sister Shirley and her brother Raul. She is survived by her sons Daniel (Kenny), Gary (Sue and grandson Bradley) and daughter Terri.
She is also survived by 7 stepchildren: John, Joe, Jim (Angie and granddaughter Grace), Frank Jr., Maureen, Kathy (Kevin and grandson Christopher and granddaughter Sarah), and Una.
Our family would like to thank Nicki Nelson for selflessly caring for our mom these last several years.
