Sandy Creek - Services for Mrs. Eila C. Vining, 94, of County Route 15, Sandy Pond, who died Friday at Mercy Hospital, Watertown, after a long illness, will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Summerville Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St Francis Xaiver Cabrini Church, Lacona. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Valley Union Cemetery, Ingleside, Ont.
Mrs. Vining was born in St. Andrews West, and had lived in Sandy Pond since 1963 after moving from Oriskany. She was formerly superintendent of the Eastern Star Home in Oriskany. She was a communicant of St. Frances Church and a member of its Altar-Rosary Society.
She was the widow of Raymond S. Vining.
Surviving are three nephews, Stuart, John and Lloyd McClave, all of Canada; and four nieces, Mary Ellen Mclntosh, Cecelia McPhail, Isabell Clancy and Carmel Clifford, all of Canada.
Contributions may be made to St. Frances Church Renovation Fund. Oswego County Messenger, Tuesday, November 29, 1982 .

She was the daughter of James and Catherine McDonald McClave and attended schools in Canada.
She was first married to Joseph Whelan at Montreal. After his death she married Ernest Runions at St. Andrew's West. They owned and operated Ernie's Hotel at Milleroche, Ont.
After Mr. Runions' death she moved to the Utica Oriskany section. She then married Raymond S. Vining Jan. 12, 1963. He died March 4, 1981.
