Lawrence "Larry" Paul Duncan passed away June 21, 2018 in Hayward, CA, at the age of 71. He was born January 7, 1947 in Alameda, CA to parents Isaac and Alma Duncan.
Lawrence is survived by his son, Arik Duncan and sisters Jacqueline Woodford, Veronica Jackson (Lekan), and Patricia Duncan-Hall. He is preceded in death by siblings Alma Frank and Isaac Duncan, Jr., and parents Isaac N. Duncan, Sr. and Alma Duncan.
Lawrence graduated from Mission High School in San Francisco, and participated in ROTC and Jr. Achievement clubs. He later served in the US Air Force.
Lawrence worked for many years as a professional drummer for the Wildflower Band, and was the session drummer for numerous local and national recording artists, including John Lee Hooker, The Doors, and Frankie Beverly.
