Leonila "Lila" Corral Holguin, 93, a resident of Lordsburg, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, April 19, 2018 at her residence.
She was born January 17, 1925 in Hanover, NM to Felix Corral and Maclovia Leon. Lila loved to sing, cook and taking care of people. She is survived by six sons, Henry Holguin of Tucson, AZ; George Holguin of Lordsburg; Bobby Holguin (Nancy) of Las Cruces; Felix Holguin (Debbie) of Las Cruces; David Holguin (Veronica) of Tucson, AZ; Ray Holguin of Lordsburg; eight daughters, Ramona Martinez (Raul) of Tucson, AZ; Diane Perez (Jorge) of Lordsburg; Virginia Flores (Sammy) of Lordsburg; Lucy Mae (David) of Lordsburg; Corrine Flores (Davy) of Lordsburg; Veronica Mora (Joey) of Lordsburg; Lila Gorard (David) of Tucson, AZ; and Yvette Hobbs (Jeff) of Tucson, AZ; seventy-one grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Manuel, Rodolfo, and Frank Corral; three sisters, Rita Cabral, Frances Flores, and Teresa Bravo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry Holguin; two sons, Rudy and Tony Holguin; one daughter, Irene Romero; two brothers, Martin and Raymond Corral; one sister, Ramona Emmons; four great-grandchildren, Felix Holguin Jr., Ronnie Romero, Bonnie Romero, and Susan Flores.
Visitation will be Friday, April 27 from 2-3pm at the Assembly of God Church with the funeral service to follow at 3pm with Pastor Clyde Woods officiating. Concluding service interment will follow at Shakespeare cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip Holguin, Joseph Flores, Eric Silva, David Martinez, Efren Romero, and Robert Gandara.
