Mary Lou was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was widowed after only nine years of marriage, with her sixth child born after her husband's untimely death. Throughout her life she displayed uncommon courage to face the many challenges and tragedies the world presents us with. Her faith in God sustained her and her love for her family nourished her. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and an example of Christian charity for all of us to follow.
She died as she wished, at her home, surrounded by family, under hospice care following a long recovery from a broken hip. KINDRED HOSPICE is owed a special thanks for the service they provided during her final days.
