Timothy Read Nichols, 72, passed away Tuesday, November 21, at Saint Catherine's with his loving family by his side. Services will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Home November 25, 2017 and the visitation will be at 1:00 and service will be held at 2:00. Brother Billy Edwards will be officiating.
Timothy was born August 1, 1945 in Gowanda, New York to Margaret Knepp and Theodore Roosevelt Nichols. In 1977, Timothy married Sherry Diane Denny, and they lived happily together in the Waco and Lorena area. Timothy was extremely proud of his time spent working for the Ford motor company. He went on from his time at Ford, to become a businessman establishing multiple business in Central Texas. He was often known for his kind heart and his tireless energy. He would probably state that his most meaningful job began when he retired. He truly loved and cherished the role of grandfather, doting on his grandchildren. Timothy was an avid sports fan and coached his son and grandchildren often. He love to cheer on the Baylor Bears. He would often be seen in attendance at the girls Baylor basketball games walking in arm with Diane.Pallbearers are Noel Frank, Quaid Arthur, Nathan Palmer, Brenden Muske, Hunter Hudgens and Glenn Talbott.
