Belle P. Buckingham, 86, of Bedford, IN formerly of Flora, IL died at 3:05 PM on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford, IN.
She was born April 15, 1921 in New York, NY to Hina & Dora (Bendavid) Quencas. She married Leo Dwight Buckingham on January 22, 1945 in Flora. He preceded her in death on August 30, 1970.
Belle is survived by 2 sons: Jeffrey D. (Eileen) Buckingham of Tacoma, WA and Clifford (Denise) Buckingham of Bedford, IN; 5 grandchildren: Elizabeth (James) Bowen of Tacoma, WA, Victoria (Sam) Turman of Kailua, HI, Christopher Buckingham of Tacoma, WA, Paul (Chrissy) Buckingham of Mason, OH, Catherine Buckingham of Maryville, TN; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 sister: Sarah Marcus of Deerfield Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, (Joseph Quencas and an infant brother) and 1 sister (Ida Quencas).
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Monday, April 30, 2007 at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora. Visitation will be from 12(noon) until time of service at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be received at the funeral home.
