Civil War Union Brevet Brigadier General. He served as Captain and Assistant Quartermaster in the Union Volunteer Army. Was Chief Quartermaster of all the Military Railroad in the East. He was brevetted Brigadier General, US Volunteers on March 13, 1865 for "efficient services during the war". Older brother of Union Brigadier General John C. Robinson.
