In 1937, at age 17 she married Roberto Landon. In their 42 years of marriage they had 11 sons and 1 daughter. Benita was widowed in April 1979. She is survived by her 11 children: Robert, Roland , Rudy, Raul, Ray, Ralph, Renato, Rick, Ross, Jean and Reddy. 27 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She came to America in 1971 where she worked at Swedish Hospital’s Nutrition Dept for 14 years until she retired in 1985.
She was a faithful member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) and a Pacific Northwest pioneer in the Locale congregations of Seattle and Burien.
She was well known for her wonderful cooking and generous heart.
