Born April 20, 1954 in Murray, the fourth child of Warren and Ivagene Thompson.
Julie excelled academically, graduating as valedictorian from Bear Creek High School in Lakewood, Colorado. She attended BYU, graduating with an Associate Degree.
Julie spent a year in Israel on an archeological dig. She was a devoted member of the LDS Church.
Julie married Jeffrey Bradder in September 1978; later divorced. She was a tender and proud mother of David Eric Bradder and Parker Scott Thompson-Ortiz, and grandma of Noah Kyle Bradder.
Preceded in death by her parents and baby Emily. Survived by her sons; a grandson; siblings, Marilyn (Bill) Dibble, Paul (Cherie) Thompson, Jan Thompson, Mark Thompson, Charlene (Rick) Koplin, and Brad Thompson; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East), Midvale, with a viewing prior to the services from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Midvale City Cemetery.
