"John Buckbee residing with his parents near Meda, died Monday morning of dropsy of the heart, from which ailment he had been a constant sufferer for many years. He was 29 years old and had lived in the neighborhood the past five years. The funeral was held yesterday from the Oretown church, the services being conducted by Rev. Galloway, of Sandlake. The remains were laid to rest in the Oretown cemetery yesterday afternoon."
