Sarah was the daughter of James Buckbee ;1844-1922 and Isabelle "Jennie" Alderman (widow of Joseph Neff); 1836-1874. Sarah married Isaac Chancey- April 24, 1886 -Roane County, West Virginia.

Sarah and Isaac had two children:
Anna Florence Chancey Camp-b 30 Apr 1887 d 1967
Calvin Fisher Chancey-b 10 Jan 1889 d 04 May 1962
