Royce Smith of Stratford, Oklahoma was born September 5, 1935 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Charley and Irene (Holland) Smith. He passed away in the Artesian Nursing Center Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years 9 months and 25 days. Royce graduated from Stratford High School in 1955. He married Betty Barton on October 29, 1954 in Sulphur. They made their home on a farm north of Stratford, where he and his brothers ran Smith Brothers Farms. He was a member of the Baptist Faith.
