The daughter of Evelyn and Joseph Thompson, she was born Sept. 10, 1920, in Salt Lake City, UT.
She was a graduate of West High School and LDS Business College.
She married Rodney G Perry Oct 30, 1940; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death.
Leah retired a bookkeeper for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Utah. She enjoyed sewing and handcrafts.
She is survived by daughters, Janene (Mel) Miller and Saundra (Jim) Lemquist; sons, Rodney (Linda) Perry and Brent D. (Terry) Perry; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, March 29, 2000, in the Parley's 4th Ward, 1870 E. Parley's Canyon Blvd (2315 So.). Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 So. 900 East, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Mt View Memorial Estates Cemetery, 7800 So. 3115 East.
