FOOTE, Howard - Died at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 10, 2011 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Betty (nee McFadyen). Loving father of Fr. William Foote ( Dr. Margaret Foote) and Janet Foote; grandfather of Catherine (Shawn) , Mary (Jason) and Caitlin, great-grandfather of Ruby. Brother-in -law of William McFadyen (Janet). A longtime resident of Preston, he was the proud owner of Howard Foote Jewellers. Howard was a member of the Kinsmen Club and K-40 and served his community well. An avid bridge player with his close friends. Howard also enjoyed his many trips to Great Britain with Betty. The family will receive friends at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, 519-653-3251 on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 4:30-6pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral and Holy Eucharist will be Celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at 11 am, at St.John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road Cambridge. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John's Anglican Church, Fairview Mennonite Home or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
