Westminster SC – Janet Hix Olbon, 59, of Westminster, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. William Cecil Hix and the late Mrs. Nancy Marilyn Varnadore Hix. Mrs. Olbon was a graduate of Oakway High School and Tri- County Technical School. Mrs. Olbon was employed at Clemson University for thirteen years and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Department for seven years and was a member of Earles Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Olbon is survived by her husband Rick Olbon of 38 years of marriage; siblings, Judy Holliday (Randy) of Oakway and Nancy Holliday of Westminster; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 4 pm, Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Earles Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 pm, prior to the service on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Earles Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Earles Grove Cemetery
