Jared was a senior at Madison-Grant High School, he was a very personable youngman always considerate his family and friends. When he was younger, Jared was an avid sports player for Madison-Grant, involved in baseball, basketball, and football. Often he and his friends would meet at the Fairmount skate boarding park.

In 2006, Jared was voted homecoming King by his peers.

He grew up around the idea of having a Harley-Davidson motorcycle like his dad, he purchased his very first motorcycle when he was 17 years old. He had big plans for the summer, talking about riding and where he wanted to go with his friends.

His love for motorcycles guided his future plans to attend Phoenix, AZ branch of Motorcycle Mechanics Institute to become a professional motorcycle mechanic.

He was currently employed at the Point Pizza, Fairmount, IN

His parents said that he would say, "Don't be sad that I am gone, be glad that I was here."

He is survived by his parents Jay D. and Lisa (LeMaster) of Fairmount, sister, Katie M. (Lance Corporal Seth) Mahoney, Fairmount, nephew, Kyson J. Mahoney. Grandparents, Tom and Bonnie Schoolman, Marion, IN Great Grandmother, Ruth (LeMaster) Goff, Marion, IN and Great Grandfather, Albert "Buss" Morris, Gas City, IN.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Mary Scott, Grandfather, Stanley LeMaster, and Great Grandmother, Lucille Morris.
