David A. McClain, 67, of Columbia, Louisiana, died Friday, June 22, 2018. Mr. McClain was a native of Ashley County, a resident of Columbia, Louisiana since 2005 and a former resident of Haughton, Louisiana. He was a carpenter, owned his own siding business and was a Baptist. He loved spending time with his family, hunting and doing carpentry work.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alphis and Florine Stewart McClain and a brother, Marion Edward McClain.

He is survived by a sister, Frances Bourgeois of Bossier City, Louisiana; three brothers, Danny McClain of California, A.B. McClain of Winnsboro, Louisiana and R.W. McClain of West Monroe, Louisiana; a very close friend, Jimmy Hatten of Columbia, Louisiana and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial are 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in the Egypt Cemetery with Bro. Keith Rose officiating.
