Darcy Duncan Harris, Jr., age 55, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, September 5, 1980.

A native of Laurens County, SC; son of Darcy Duncan Harris, Sr. and the late Hester Hembree Harris; husband of Theda Frye Harris.

President of Fiske-Carter Construction Compay joined Friske-Carter in 1948; a graduate of Clemson University; veteran of World War II; member of S.C. Society of Professional Engineers; Carolinas Branch of the Associated General Contractors of America; Spartanburg Chapter of S.C. Society of Professional Engineers; Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association; Piedmont General Contractors Association; S.C. Industrial Developers Association; Spartanburg Chapter of the American Red Cross; Spartanburg Rotary Club; Trinity United Methodist Church; and former member of the Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce.

Also survived by a daughter, Susan H. Fogle; sons, Robert Duncan, Darcy Vance, and Paul Leon Harris; stepmother, Beatrice Harris; and three grandchildren.

Services were held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 7, 1980, at Trinity United Methodist Church by Rev. C.D. Williams; burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Saturday, September 6, 1980, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.

Memorials could be made to the American Cancer Society or to Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund.
