Joe Percy Hart, 84, of Hart, Texas passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Amarillo.

Joe was born July 21, 1933 in Plainview, Texas to Walton Percy and Edna Blossom ( Livesay) Hart. Joe Percy has been a lifelong resident of Hart and a farmer all of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hart and a former member of the Hart Golden Group. He and Sarah, his wife, took care of the Hart Cemetery for many years. Joe Percy enjoyed playing the piano and accordion and in his earlier years he enjoyed participating with his children in their livestock shows.

Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Vic Hart and his wife Laura of Hart, Gary Hart and his wife Rebecca of San Angelo, Texas, Marlan Hart of Quinlan, Texas and his daughter, Ladonna Elders of Amarillo; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
