Musician. A bassist and drummer, he as a member of the Baroque/Pop music ensemble "The Left Banke." Born Justo George Cameron, when the band formed in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, in 1965, Cameron initially played the bass guitar before becoming the band's drummer on their recordings. Harpsichordist Michael Brown's father arranged for session musicians to contribute to their debut album "Walk Away Renee/Pretty Ballerina" (1967) and the result was a Top Five chart placing with the single "Walk Away Renee." Their other commercial hit, "Pretty Ballerina" reached Number Fifteen on the American Pop Charts in 1967. The band separated following the release of their second album "The Left Banke Too" (1968) and Cameron would go on to remain in the industry, as a member of later lineups of "The Left Banke." He died from cancer.
