Figuring out exactly where LIzzie came from and who her parents were is proving very difficult. No idea on her mother. Nothing concise since she lists different birth places for both parents (and herself) on all the census reports.
1 possibility for her father.
John Smalley Moore - FAG 102765954. He was born in Ohio, but really made Muncie, Indiana his home. He did spend about 10 - 15 years in Shawnee/Osage county and even owned land right next to Thomas Masters. He would have had to been married before Margaret Potter. The problem is he never lists Lizzie on any census reports or in his obituary. The fact he owned land right next to Thomas Masters makes him a candidate.
I still can't locate her on the 1870 census (probably living in Ohio still), the 1880 census (maybe in Kansas) or the 1885 Kansas census (probably in Burlingame). It's only after she marries Thomas Masters that you start to see her on the US/Kansas census reports.
