Dixie Smith, 84, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Pocatello.

Dixie was born in Franklin, Idaho on Nov. 10, 1933. She was later adopted by Archie McCombs.

Dixie attended her high school years in Preston.

She Married Keith Smith on Sept. 1, 1950, and together they had 3 children: Kleas, Michael and Kenton.

Dixie was a member of the Johnny Creek Ward and served in many different callings.

Her hobbies and likes were, cooking, canning, bowling, golf and quilting.

She was a member of a bowling league and her, Keith and Kenton enjoyed golfing together.

Dixie is survived by a daughter, Kleas Wray and Kenton Smith both of Pocatello, ID; sisters, Linda (John) Wilcox of Gilbert, AZ and Judy (Bob) Barrett of Auburn, WA; eight grandchildren, Michelle, Jared, Danielle, Kendi, Jeremy, Travis, Treavor, and Garrett; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith in 2009; a son, Michael in 2012; a brother, Val Dean.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at the LDS Johnny Creek Ward, 655 South Grant, Pocatello, ID. Public viewing will be at the church on Wed. from 10 -11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
