Joan Austin Daniels, 66, of Cross, a retired branch manager with Cooper River Federal Savings and Loan, died Sunday, 27 Feb 2005 at a Moncks Corner hospital. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner, directed by RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL. Mrs. Daniels was born February 2, 1939, in Berkeley County, a daughter of Woodrow A. Austin and Grace Hill Austin. She was a graduate of Berkeley High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner. Surviving are her husband, Donald E. (Country) Daniels of Cross; daughter, Wendy Barnette of Russellville; brother, Harry D. Austin of Pinopolis; granddaughter, Lisa Barnette of Moncks Corner; great-granddaughter, Victoria Barnette of Moncks Corner. Friends may call at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Moncks Corner, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday evening. Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by a daughter, Vonda Lynn Daniels.
