Andrew Grigsby was born on October 19, 1867 in Tennessee, the son of Joshua "Josh" Grigsby (1835-1905) and Elizabeth "Betty" (Holt) Grigsby (1844-1944).
A teamster living at 1404 Phillips in Nashville, he was 39 years old and married when he died of epileptic convulsions at home on November 26, 1906. Burial was two days later in Greenwood Cemetery.
