Leon Taylor, 93, of KCMO passed away on June 19. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Fri., June 22 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Leon was born the son of Henry and Maude Taylor on May 5, 1925. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Taylor; brothers, Edward and James Taylor; and sister, Ruth Taylor. He is survived by his sons, Stephen Taylor and Jeffrey (Helen) Taylor; daughters, Carol Taylor (Latham) and Rhonda (Jim) Denison; brother, Donald Taylor; 9 grandchildren, Lana Latham, Kyle Latham, Jeffrey Taylor, Michael Taylor, Stephanie Taylor, Amberley Palmer, Matthew Denison, James Denison and Laura Netherton, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
