Edwin William Richardson, 93 year old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away June 20, 2018, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born March 3, 1925 in Marlow, Oklahoma, he was the son of Bennie Franklin Richardson and Ethel Ruby (Cox) Richardson. Edwin was a longtime employee at Tinker AFB where he worked in Maintenance of Hydraulic Systems on aircraft. He was an avid vegetable gardener; loved growing fruit especially strawberries; square dancing; Traveling; playing board and Card Games; and was behind the camera taking home movies at all family events. Preceding him in death were his parents and 1 daughter, Janet A. Cobb. Survivors include his wife Adaline J. (Dostal) Richardson of the home; 2 daughters, Barbara Marie and her husband Henry Stephens of Choctaw, OK; Wilma Sue and her husband Edward Taft of Midwest City, OK; 3 step-children, Sherry Hoffman of Midwest City, OK; Michael Eugene brown of Joshua, Texas; and Twiana Ball of Midwest City, OK; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Curtis and his wife Billie Lou Richardson of Stillwater, OK; Harold and his wife Jean Richardson of Choctaw, OK; and Burl and his wife Linda Richardson of Bryan, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Church, 3254 N. Choctaw Road, Choctaw, OK 73020 with Dr. Dick Temple officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
