Edward C. Rothrock, 75, of Clearfield, R.D. 2, who served two terms as justice of the peace in that area, died in the Clearfield Hospital yesterday, Nov. 12, at 3:30 p.m.

He was a member of the Center Hill Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge at Clearfield.

Born at Center Hill, Morrisdale R.D., July 16, 1892, a son of the late Curtin and Sara (Smeal) Rothrock, he is survived by his wife, the former Hester Campman; two step-daughters, Mrs. Vera Ardery of Santa Ana, Calif., and Mrs. Dorothy Batcheler of Glen Richey; and the following brother and sisters: Boyd Rothrock, Center Hill; Mrs. Maude Ellinger, Erie, and Mrs. Grace Shearer and Mrs. Edna Keenan, Clearfield.

There are seven step-grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Bennett Funeral Home, The Rev. James Snyder will officiate and interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.

Friends may call in the funeral home from 7 p.m. tomorrow until the hour of services Wednesday.
