Laura Mae Parish, 85, went to be with our Lord April 26, 2000. She was born Nov. 14, 1914 in Geary, OK to Tom & Clara (Hinger) Goss.

In 1958, she moved to OKC, coming from El Reno, OK. For over 25 years, she worked as a sales representative for Nutritional Food Center. Laura Mae was a longtime member of Grace Assembly of God & the Goldstars, (an organization for widows & widowers of the Armed Forces).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, who was killed in action during WW II onMarch 2, 1945; also, her parents; sisters, Audrey Copenbarger and Ruby Lovell and brother, Carl Goss.

She is survived by her son, Don Parish & wife, Peggy of OKC; brothers: Matt Goss of OKC and Leo Watson of Duncan, OK; sister, Dollie Watson of Albuquerque, NM; 4 granddaughters: Sandra Weisser, Sheila Morgan, LaDonna Wilson, & Michelle Parish; 8 great grandchildren: Jonathan & Timothy Weisser, Preston, Andrea, & Austin Morgan, Cameron & Natalie Wilson, & Nathan Parish.

Services will be held 2:00 PM Mon., May 1, 2000 at Grace Assembly of God with burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
