Eileen Prendeville, age 48, of Centerville, MA died on May 10, 2006, in Boston, MA.

She was born in Quincy, MA on October 21, 1957, the daughter of Bridget (Healey) Prendeville of Quincy and the late Lawrence Prendeville.

She attended the St. Anne’s School in Quincy and graduated with honors from the Archbishop Williams High School, Class of 1976. She continued her education at Regis College 1976-1978 after receiving a scholarship. Eileen went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Trinity College in Burlington, Vermont in 1980.

Her employment included Corporate Training Manager with Boston Edison Company from 1982-1996. Highlights of this include: having her past performance acknowledged by Boston Edison Company’s President’s Special Performance Award. Also she was awarded and recognized as a REGIONAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL PHOEBE RECIPIENT for computer based training programs. She was also the Vice President of Yankee International Service Group, a consulting group specializing in business development for foreign companies and governments from 1996-2001. Eileen was the recipient of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authorities Grant to develop hybridelectric vehicles for the disabled.

In 2002, she moved to Cape Cod. She settled in Osterville and later moved to her home in Centerville. While on the Cape, she was employed by Clamursies in Provincetown, MA. She went to work for them in February 2006 and was an event and wedding planner she also worked in catering. She liked to cook. She enjoyed travel. She was a gentle soul who cared for everyone. She is remembered as a loving and caring person.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her daughter.
