AGE 59 YEARS
Marie (Prendeville) Maloney a resident of Quincy, passed into eternal life on February 2, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
Marie was the beloved wife for thirty-six years, of Thomas M. Maloney, Jr. Cherished mother of Thomas M., III, Therese H., and Patrick P. all of Quincy.
Loving daughter of the late Lawrence N. and Bridget M. (Healy) Prendeville.
Dear sister of Lawrence, Loretta N., both of Quincy and the late Eileen Prendeville Yetman.
A lifelong Quincy resident, Marie was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School and Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing. She was a dedicated nurse at Carney Hospital in Dorchester for thirty-seven years.
Marie was the cornerstone of her family. Together with her husband, they built a foundation of faith, love and trust for the true lights of her life, her three children: Thomas, Therese and Patrick. Marie left a lasting impression on everyone she met, making all feel welcomed, loved and truly at home in her presence. She will be sorely missed by all those whose lives she has touched over the years.
