A celebration of the life of Joe Bill Rogers, 71, of Lubbock will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Shepherd King Lutheran Church with Pastor Jeremy Ullrich officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Tuesday at Sanders Funeral Home.

Joe Bill passed away June 15, 2018.

Joe Bill was born June 7, 1947 in Wichita Falls, TX to Billy Rogers and Jo Ann Ricks Rogers. Joe has been a resident of Lubbock since 1972. He married Kathy Schulze on September 7, 1976 in Lubbock, Texas. Member of Shepherd King Lutheran Church. Joe Bill's first love was animals which lead to a career in the sale and trade of exotic animals.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Rogers; son, William Rogers; grandchildren, Brittany, Ellie and Rowdy Rogers; step brothers, Bobby Thomas and Ray Thomas; step sister, Diane Thomas.

Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Joanna Rogers.

Memorials are suggested to South Plains Wildlife Rehab Center 3308 95th Street Lubbock, TX 79423 or Shepherd King Lutheran Church.
