CHAFFEE
Mrs. Grace E Denton of Chaffee died Saturday morning at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, where she had resided since September 1972. She was 89 years old.

She was born Jan 1, 1890 in Gipson County, Tennessee. She married Alvin P Denton March 3, 1906. He preceded her in death March 2, 1971.

She was a charter member of the Assembly of God Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include a son, Howard Clyde Denton, Chaffee: daughters, Mrs. Louise Corgiat and Mrs. Neisha Humphreys, both of Cape Girardeau, Mrs. Margaret Gallagher, Binghampton, N. Y., Mrs. Charlotte Kimes, Princeton, Mrs Shirley Bode, Oglesby, Ill., Mrs Peggy Biler and Mrs Donna Biler, both of Chaffee, sister, Mrs. Claude Nutgrass, Rollen, Tenn., 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.

The body is at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee, where friends may call Monday afternoon after 4:30.

Service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Sullivan and the Rev. William H. Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
