Veloy married Dean Elden Thomas on June 25th, 1947 in the Manti Utah Temple. She was a loving wife mother, aunt, sister, grandma and great-grandma. She had four brothers, Dean (Cres), Melvin “Pete” (Anna) Stanley (Connie), and Ray (Jetta).
Dean and Veloy were married for 47 years. They had three children; Keven, Honaye, Starr (Mary). They had five grandchildren; Jacob (Morgan), Paislee (Michael), Mason (Montana), Hayden (Tina), and Dalton, along with five great grandchildren; Oakley, Hudson, Abel, Elton, and Juniper.
Veloy had a beautiful voice. She loved singing with her mother and brother and was a member of a quartet named The Honey Notes for many years. Veloy is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. Veloy held many positions within the church. She enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband Dean. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
