Bette grew up in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and moved to Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 21. She worked as a stenographer at Convair (now Lockheed-Martin) and met her future husband, Chuck Savage, there. They were married for 52 years and had three daughters, Susan (Vince) Sprinkle, Patti (Bob) Sergi and Kelley (Mike) Meza. She also had a sister, JoAnne; numerous nieces and nephews and their families; three grandchildren, Brant (Brenda), Leslie and Erin and three great grandchildren, Bailey, Parker and Holden, all of whom brought great joy to her life.
Bette was a 70-year parishioner of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 5508 Black Oak Lane, Ft. Worth, Texas, and her funeral service will be held there on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Her burial service will be Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM, at Mary Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 2269 Co Rd 1703, Malakoff, Texas.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Courtyards at Lake Granbury and the nurses of Interim Hospice.
Funeral services will be under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas
