He was born December 4, 1965, in Zanesville, OH to Glenn A. and Ellen R. (McGee) Wilson. On October 7, 2001, he married the former Tammy J. Tatman, who survives.
Also surviving are his four children; a grandson; his father; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Ellen.
Jay was a graduate of Zanesville High School, Class of 1984. He worked for the Kroger Co. for 20 years, most recently as District Operations Manager. He truly enjoyed his work with the Kroger Co. Over the years, he climbed the corporate ladder and held various positions as a store leader. Jay prided himself in watching his associates succeed and be promoted. He was a wonderful son, baby brother and an attentive and loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
A celebration of Jay's life will be held at 5pm Sunday, October 15, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. William Pursley officiating. Friends may call from 1-5pm at the funeral home.
