Ettola Fern Engler, 91, passed away peacefully November 13, 2001 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born in Bessie, Oklahoma on June 27, 1910, the daughter of William Jefferson and Martha Ella Hatchett Allen. She married Elbert H. Engler on December 24, 1939 in Moore, Oklahoma.

After attending Central Teachers College in Edmond, OK, she taught high school in Perkins, OK and elementary school in Corpus Christi, TX. She was honored by the Wilson Elementery School as an Outstanding Teacher upon her retirement.

Ettola is survived by her children; daughter Noelle (Sam) LeBlanc and son Michael (Annette) Engler; grandchildren Sam LeBlanc IV, Raoul LeBlanc, Lt. Marcel LeBlanc, Christian Rodriguez and Heather Engler. Also survived by sisters Wilma (Frank) O'Brien and Doris Estes; sisters-in-law Ruby Wright and Cordia Shafer.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 16, 2001 at the Church On The Rock, 622 North Berry, Norman, OK. Interment will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery, 500 South West 104th in Oklahoma City.

Ettola will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, former students and all who knew her. Her legacy is love that will live forever.
