Gaffney, SC - - Barbara Ann Gordon Nance, 77, of 808 8th Street, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 11, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Willie H. Gordon and Mattie Belle Dowdle Gordon. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from Hamrick Industries, and was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Melissa N. Wyatt, Karen N. Morris and husband, Al, and Lori N. Benton and husband, Marshall, all of Gaffney; nine grandchildren, Brock Morris, Grant Morris, Amanda M. Spencer, Zach Morris, Brett Clary, Lisa Benton Mullinax, Andy Benton, Cody Wyatt and Casey Wyatt; fourteen great-grandchildren, Dylan, Luke, Abby, Ally, Rylee, Jake, Brooklyn, Leighlan, Bella, Kinsley, Kenadi, Caleb, Harper and Tucker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Olin Gordon, Paul Gordon and Herman Gordon.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday,
June 14, 2018 at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Scott Kierstead officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
The family will be at the home of Al and Karen Morris, 118 Pacolet Highway, Gaffney.
