Roy Lee Edwards, 58, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at his residence in New Palestine.
He was born March 23, 1942. His father was Millard Edwards. His mother is Alma (Kimberlin) Edwards of Tennessee. He married Brenda (Brown) Edwards. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Scott Edwards of Warsaw; four daughters, Bobbie Taylor of Franklin, Sharon Gosnell of Warsaw, Karen Ogden of Rushville and Davell Redden of Whiteland; a brother, Bill Edwards of Palm Beach, Fla.; five sisters, Betty Fisher of Florida, Blanche Poteat of Indianapolis, Jane Aldrich and Linda Hardesty, both of Oregon, and Kathy McCartt of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was employed for 36 years by Ford Motor Co. in Indianapolis as an assembly worker. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 1111.
Services were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Mortuary in Indianapolis, Indiana.
