Mrs. Lillie Longest Crowe, 91, mother of William Longest of Newport News, died Monday in Ann Arrunsel Hospital, Annapolis, MD. She was a native of Tappahannock, VA.
Other survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Christine Oliver, Mrs. Eleanor Gammon, Mrs. Catherine Howard, and Mrs. Mary Beasley, all of Richmond, Mrs. Estelle Miller of Shadyside, MD, Mrs. Nellie Wilder of Washington, D.C.; two sons, William Longest of Newport News and Melvin Longest of Baltimore, MD; five sisters, Mrs. Annie Harper, Mrs. Fannie Cooke and Mrs. Nancy Taylor, all of Howertons, Mrs. Mattie Jones of Pauls Cross Roads and Mrs. Nellie Broach of Richmond; one brother, Woodie Brooks of Howertons; 33 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Crowe was a member of Howertons Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Tappahannock. Burial in the church cemetery. Woody's Funeral Home, Richmond, is in charge.

Married Robert Warren Longest on February 26, 1900, Essex Co, VA. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1938.

Married James Garland Crowe on December 23, 1944, Essex Co, VA.
