DERRICK JAMES NASH
Our fun loving Derrick, 5, passed away June 10, 1995 in Salt Lake City, after a strong and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born October 16, 1989 in Salt Lake to Kenneth E. and Sharon Carrington Nash.
Derrick was a kid who loved to play and swim, he enjoyed the outdoors and playing his Sega and Super Nintendo.
He is survived by his parents, a step-mother, Marie Taylor, grandparents, Mary and Bruce Hansen, Zula Marchant, Jerry and Sharon Carrington, brothers, Brian Nash, Branden Taylor, sisters, Charice Taylor, Sabrina Taylor, eight aunts and two uncles, numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mercedes Nash.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 1995, 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road, where friends and family may call one hour prior to services.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses and hospital staffs of FHP and Primary Children's for their continued concern, love and support for their son and brother, Derrick. Also a special thanks to Shauna and Donna and families for their love and care.
