Arnold was born March 7, 1905 in Woodland, Summit Co., Utah to Nephi and Melinda White Moon. He attended the Ogden School for the Deaf. This is where he met and eventually married his school mate, sweetheart, and partner for eternity, Zelma Lundquist on June 19, 1929 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for 69 years until they were separated by her death on March 15, 1998. He will be missed by all who shared his life, but know that there is great joy in Heaven now he is reunited with his sweetheart and his hearing and use of his legs are restored.
Arnold is survived by his daughters, Marjorie (Ross) Montgomery, Beth Ann (Jay) Campbell; brothers, Phillip, Willis, Floyd, Milton, Merrill, Roger; sisters, LaRetta Payne, Dora Riley, Emily Jones; 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 21, 1999 with burial in West Jordan City Cemetery beside his wife, Zelma.
