Isaac Andrew Collins, age 94 of Estill Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Life Care Center of Tullahoma. He was born in Tullahoma on August 11, 1923 to the late Isaac Andrew and Carrie Womack Collins Sr. Isaac served in the United States Army during World War II in the First Calvary before working for 45 years as a boilermaker out of Local 454, Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was a faithful member of Decherd Nazarene Church, Tim's Ford Antique Car Club, and the Gideon's. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and fishing in his younger years, as well as playing guitar. Isaac "loved fast cars," especially his 1956 Cadillac two-door hard-top. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his large family. Isaac will be remembered for his love of people, family, friends, and church family, and for always having a smile. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Collins; daughters, Margaret Ann Noblitt and Debbie Brandon; sisters, Edith Ferguson and Gertrude Norville; and brother, Thomas A. Collins. Isaac is survived by his children, Shirley (Wayne) Elliott of Decherd, Rebecca (George) Gray of Estill Springs, Ruth (Gerron) Carter of Tullahoma, Karen (Stephen) Rutherford of Greenville, Paul Collins of Nashville, Kenneth Douglas Collins of Estill Springs, and Darrel Collins of Estill Springs; and grandchildren, Bruce Noblitt, Brian Noblitt, Kim Dudley, Kirstie Dudley, Jerome Newton, Melanie Hill, Courtney Kendrick, Derek Elliott, Stephanie Fulcher, Jason Carter, Jonathan Rutherford, Leauna King, Kyle Collins, Chasity Magouirk, Dayton Winton, Nathan Collins, and Matthew Collins; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Stephen Rutherford and Rev. Brian Nave officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with military honors bestowed.
