—Mrs. Carl Reese died Monday morning, March 26, at 2 o'clock at the home of her son, William Reese. Mrs. Reese came to Irving township in 1882, where she lived until she moved to Hiawatha with her son, family 3 years ago. She would have been 81 years old Aug. 8. She is survived by 8 children, 4 daughters, Mrs. Charles Tolle, of Harper, Mrs. Charles Conway, of Deer Creek, Okla., Mrs. John Tolle, of Nardin, Okla.; Mrs. Paul Moore, of Robinson; 4 sons, Will Reese, of Hiawatha; August Reese, Charles Reese, of Arden, Okla., Ed Reese, of Robinson. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church at Hiawatha. Burial will be at Mt. Zion cemetery.

Minnie Boremeyer Reese was born in Germany, Aug. 3, 1947; died March 26, 1928, aged 80 years, six months, 28 days. While she was a young woman she came with her brother to this country. She was united in marriage to Carl Reese in 1869, to this union nine children were born, one son John, died in 1914. The remaining children are: Wm. Reese, of Hiawatha; August Reese of Nardin, Okla.; Mrs. Emma Tolle, of Harper, Kans.; Edward, of Robinson; Charles, of Nardin, Okla.; Mrs. Charles Conaway, of Deer Creek, Okla.; Mrs. John Tolle, of Nardin, Okla.; Mrs. Paul Moore, of Robinson.

The funeral was held at the Methodist church Wednesday at 2 p. m., conducted by Rev. G. L. Lawellin. Burial was in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
