Catherine Salisbury Meldrum, 63, Orem, died Tuesday at the Utah Valley Hospital. She was born November 15, 1910 in Provo to Lawrence Jay and Lillian Calder Salisbury. She married Marvin Everett Meldrum on August 28, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Active in the LDS Church, she was Primary teacher, stake ERA director, Junior Sunday School teacher and coordinator, Relief Society counselor and secretary, and project clerk for the Orem Fourth Ward Bishopric. Mrs. Meldrum also was a member of the Vertiya Club of Orem.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters and one son, Mrs. Jerry (Carol Jean) Jensen, Orem; Mrs. Harry (Cathy Ann) Sutherland, Rexburg, Idaho; and Larry Joe Meldrum, Pleasant Grove; 14 grandchildren; her mother, Orem; one sister and three brothers, Mrs. Afton Stubbs and Jay Salisbury, both of Boulder City, Nevada; Francis Salisbury, Pleasant Grove, and Keith Salisbury, Murray.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Orem Fourth-Fifth Ward Chapel. Burial will be in Orem Cemetery.
