She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband James N. Gray, brothers David C. Disney and Charles L. Pounders; parents Louie A. Pounders, Geneva Pounders Disney and step father Dave C. Disney.
She is survived by her daughter Janet Lee Gray, sisters Alma J. Ivey of Clinton, Dortha May William of North Caroline, Betty Nichols Richmond of Knoxville, and Shirley Dameron of Clinton; brothers: Paul J. Pounders of South Carolina and Jerry Disney of Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
