A veteran of the US Navy, he was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed many hours doing so. Nothing was more important to Jeff than family, being a loving husband, and dad and paw paw to his children and grandchildren.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Moses Andrew and Rosa Edwards Turner; and his son, Jack Turner.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, one son, one daughter, five grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Jenny.
Funeral: 3:00pm, Monday, September 4, 2017, from Evans Funeral Home, with Reverend Johnny White officiating.
Visitation: one hour prior to funeral service.
Grave side service: at Shiloh Cemetery.
