MADISON — Mrs. Eileen [Eilene] Mary Klade Guethlein, age 52, of 4529 Boynton Place, Madison, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 1980, after a long illness in a Madison hospital. She was born on October 9, 1927 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and had been a life long area resident. The former Eileen [Eilene] Klade was married to Lee Guethlein on November 20, 1978. She had been employed by the University of Wisconsin for the past 10 years as a Lab Technician. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband; three sons. James T. Guethlein of Madison, Robert J. Weitzel of Denver, Colorado, Francis L. Weitzel of Guam; three daughters, Mrs. James (Nancy) Smiley of Germany, Mrs. William (Diane) Stull of Madison, Mrs. Philip (Sheri) Bennett of Verona; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Moody, Mrs. Walter (Elizabeth) Cloven both of Madison; a brother, Donald Klade of Zimmerman, Minnesota; a niece, Sandra Estinoza of Madison; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services w ill be held on Monday, June 2 at 10 a.m. at ST. BERNARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave. Father John Meinholz will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, June 1 at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave where a rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
