Mr. Billy Dean Estes was born to the late Adolphus and Zannie (Burton) Estes in Green County on January 29, 1957. He departed this life on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his home in Campbellsville being 61 years, 4 months, and 5 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Estes was employed at Ingersol-Rand and retired after many years of service. He spent his years doing what he loved, from playing cards or fishing, to watching NASCAR or Kentucky basketball, but his passion was his grandchildren. His love for his family will forever live through those he leaves behind, including his wife, two daughters, two brothers, three grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Doug Estes, Jerry Estes, and Henry Estes.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Estes on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 12:00 PM EST (11:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funreal Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro Dave Walters will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 5, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST (4:00-7:00 PM CST). In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to Make Today Count, a local charity designed to help those battling cancer and other serious illnesses.
